Another bird shot from this past weekend while Donna and I were out Geocaching. It's pretty amazing now that we're into birding we are constantly trying to spot and identify each bird call we here or bird that we see. We are planning on heading back to this state park again in the future as they have all kinds of birds there and we only saw a handful of different ones. Too bad it's a 2+ hour drive to get there though :(

  1. This is gorgeous. I've always wanted to do this, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Plus I'd like a 400 or 500 lens, right now my highest is 300 and it's just not good enough.

    Looking forward to more.

  2. Your 300 is plenty to get started with. The shot of the Black Vulture was taken with a 70-200. Of rouse the longer lens the better. I really want a 600 but will probably buy a 500. Of course I have to save up a bunch of money before I can buy either one!
